The two injured include a lady and her daughter. They were rushed to a medical facility thanks to the prompt response of a cab driver. The said lady is a trader in animal feed. Her goods were also damaged, an eye witness told Cameroon Infotrend.

"We only heard a loud sound and everyone started running away. I have recorded losses but we thank God for life because these things are worldly. From now, we shall always ensure that we are vigilant by checking places around" said a vendor in fast food who identified himself as Paul.

"The explosion was well calculated and planted. It was caused by improvised explosive devises because we could identify a telephone, nails and other iron objects which indicate that it was an intentional act" A Gendermarie officer who opted to stay anonymous told Cameroon Infotrend as he pointed to a broken telephone and iron rodes at the site of the eruption.
