Farewell Mass to His Excellency Julio Murat, Outgoing Apostolic Nuncio to Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea By Mildred Ndum Wung Kum   A farewell Mass to outgoing Apostolic Nuncio to Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea Julio Murat took place at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral Yaounde with all bishops of Cameroon present.  His Grace Andrew Nkea, president of the National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon who featured in the Mass as main celebrant and homilist was grateful for the time spent by His Grace Julio Murat in Cameroon. Archbishop Andrew Nkea reflected on the qualities of a good shepherd, pointing to Jesus as the good shepherd who served mankind with love and humility. The national Episcopal Conference of Cameroon handed gifts of a chasuble and a statue of Mary to Julio Murat. They wished him well as he continues his ministry. OVER 36 MILLION FRS RAISED TO CONSTRUCT HOME FOR RETIRED PRIESTS AT CATHEDRATICUM By Mildred Wung The welfare of retired priests in the Archdiocese of Bamenda is expected to improve following an offertory that amounted to thirty six million six hundred thousand Francs cash. The amount contributed by over six thousand Catholics of forty five parishes in the Archdiocese of Bamenda was raised on a day set aside for Cathedraticum (a specified sum of money to be paid annually toward a bishop deemed as a mark of honour and a sign of subjection to the cathedral church) Earlier in an announcement sent out to parishes, Andrew Fuanya Nkea -Archbishop of Bamenda had told his sheep to offer generously for this year's Cathedraticum which he spelled out that the money would be used to construct a home for retired priests in the Archdiocese. Archdiocese of Bamenda: Pope Francis Raises five Priests to Monsignors Story: Mildred Ndum Wung Kum and Felicitas Ika Picture: New Monsignors holding appointment letters  Reverend Fathers  William Neba, John Ambe, Michael Yuh, Michael Kintang and Anthony Viban are five Priests, newly crowned as monsignors.  The honorific title conferred on them by Pope Francis was proclaimed by Andrew Nkea, Archbishop of Bamenda on 6th December 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima Queen of Peace Shrine, Abangoh, Bamenda.
