WEH OFFERS PRADO CAR TO FON

Rumour that Car Cost  40M Dismissed

The population of Weh have honoured the traditional leader of their land with a brand new vehicle. Sons and daughters of Weh in Cameroon and the Diaspora presented a Toyota Prado Car to His Royal Highness Fon Mbuh II.

The gift was offered to him, 3rd December 2022, during an Annual General Assembly of the Weh Youth Association in Douala, economic capital of Cameroon.

A message forwarded on social media from an unknown source claims that the car cost forty million Francs CFA.

Cameroon Infotrend contacted Peter Mue Ngha, President General of Weh Cultural and Development Association WECUDA to confirm the purported cost.

"The social media quotings are all wrong. As a leader, I know where  such accountabilities are done and surely not on social media.  Therefore I would not talk about the cost on social media or press. Such information is very sensitive for the public especially in such times" the president General said.

While handing the him the gift, His Royal Highness Mbuh II was hailed for being at the service of the community.

The gift to the Fon of Weh was a gesture by descendants of the Weh village to support him in his task of administering the people. He received the donation nine months after coronation (Crowned traditional ruler, March 9, 2022)

WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY 2020: REFLECTION ON ECUMENISM NW, SW IN THE CONTEXT OF TIMES BY MILDRED NDUM WUNG KUM Ecumenism is when Christians from  different denominations come together with the purpose of strengthening their relationship as followers of Christ. The celebration of the 2020 week of prayer for Christian Unity offers once again a unique moment for different churches to commune together and review ties from the view of a true Christian perspective. It invites Christians to reflect not as Catholic, Presbyterian, Baptist or Pentecostal but as one people in Christ with the vocation to bring peace, love, hope and joy. Because there are people in need of clothing and others in need of shelter, Because the hungry are yearning for food and satisfaction and the down trodden gasping for freedom; ecumenism becomes relevant so that Christians of whatever faith evaluate themselves in the light of the very teachings of Christ-  If you love me feed my sheep.
