NORTHWEST DELEGATE FOR NATIONAL SECURITY INSTALLED

Wilson Elung Njume incoming Northwest Delegate for National Security was installed in Bamenda by the Delegate General for National Security Martin Mbarga Nguelle March 23rd 2021. The ceremony took place at the explanade of Bamenda I Divisional Office.

The outgoing Delegate for National Security Gousmo Emile was commended by Bamenda City Mayor -Paul Achobang Tambeng for having been relentless in the maintenance of public order, peace and security for nine years in the Northwest Region. He leaves to a new duty in Yaounde as Director of Finance Computer Management and Logistics. 

Equally, Mr Elung Wilson was assured by the Mayor of the populations collaboration. He was also tasked to ensure public order in the socio political crisis stricken region. 

"the police are not magicians. The partnership with the population is very important, without which we are not going to succeed" the newly installed delegate told Cameroon Infotrend

With a prevailing socio political crisis in the Northwest Region, he has the task to restore peace and security in a region notorious for kidnappings, human killing, vandalism and explosions.

ABDUCTED SENATOR ATTRACTS SOLIDARITY of BAMENDA ARCHBISHOP The Office of the Archbishop in the Archdiocese of Bamenda has published a communique requesting for the release of Senator Regina Mundi, one of Cameroon's Senators wallowing in captivity after she was kidnapped April 30th, 2022. The communique dated May 10, 2022 carries the insignia and signatory of the Archbishop of Bamenda, His Grace Andrew Nkea.    "I am sending out this open appeal to those who are keeping Mrs Regina Mundi to kindly show mercy on her and liberate her from captivity. Farewell Mass to His Excellency Julio Murat, Outgoing Apostolic Nuncio to Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea By Mildred Ndum Wung Kum   A farewell Mass to outgoing Apostolic Nuncio to Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea Julio Murat took place at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral Yaounde with all bishops of Cameroon present.  His Grace Andrew Nkea, president of the National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon who featured in the Mass as main celebrant and homilist was grateful for the time spent by His Grace Julio Murat in Cameroon. Archbishop Andrew Nkea reflected on the qualities of a good shepherd, pointing to Jesus as the good shepherd who served mankind with love and humility.
