Rapid ID Card Production with 500 Establishment Posts to take effect in Cameroon  By Mildred Ndum Wung Kum  The new process of producing a National Identity Card in Cameroon shall be instant, just like the production of passports which is a forty eight hour procedure.  Five hundred more production posts shall be created throughout the country for facilitation. These reforms in the production of National Identity Cards that would go operational, was announced by the Delegate General for National Security - Martin Mbarga Nguele, at the Second Biannual Governor's Conference that took place from 12th to 13th December, 2022 in Yaounde, chaired by the Minister of Territorial Administration, Atanga Nji Paul. COVID-19: RuWCED TAKES PROACTIVE STEPS IN NGOKETUNJIA  BY MILDRED NDUM WUNG KUM The Rural Women Center for Education and Development RuWCED, in its capacity to empower communities in the thirteen villages of Ngoketunjia Division, Northwest Region Cameroon invited community leaders and nurses for empowerment on managing and preventing COVID-19. Prompted by the rapid spread of coronavirus in the country and the urgency to bar it from Ngoketunjia, the women based NGO devoted extra attention on women with regards to the virus. The meeting took place at the Ndop District Hospital April 11 2020. BENAKUMA COUNCIL: STAKEHOLDERS AGREE ON PEACE ENABLING FOR PROJECT REALISATION BY MILDRED NDUM WUNG KUM Within a social climate of tough security challenges, stakeholders of the Benakuma Municipality have agreed to be peace crusaders  in the struggle to achieve development projects. This commitment was taken during an extraordinary Benakuma council session under the leadership of Ihimbru Solomon Kudi, Mayor of Benakuma Council.  Also present at the event were the First Deputy Mayor for Benakuma- Ayissi Ewah Stella, the Second Deputy Mayor- Ofeh David Kudi, the Council Secretary General - Mbuwe Ignatius the Senior Divisionsl Officer for Menchum Abdoullahi Aliou and other dignitaries.
